Treasurer’s report – submitted my Peggy and distributed to the Board.  Shows a balance of $2,441.72 as of 5/7/07

Tom Vris spoke to the Board about the use of loudspeakers at Fox Run field during athletic events.  Bob Wagman will talk to Mike Moccia of Parks and Rec. about this and report back to the Board.

New Business

Peggy Yff was named President to replace Joe Sette who has moved out of West Norwalk
Ron Paladino was named Vice-President to replace Peggy
Jim Forcellina will assume the temporary duty of Treasurer in the prolonged absence of Lou Santos.

Wilder Gleason spoke about the “water problems”  in West Norwalk.  He agreed to attend the May 14 meeting of the Coalition at 7:30 in room A333, City Hall and talk to Mike  Greene.  Wilder will report back to the Board in June.  Jim Forcellina will call the other
West Norwalk Residents who had indicated their interest in discussion about the “water problems.”

Discussion – Spring Social at 4 Pazzi. General consensus was positive. The type and amount of food needs to be addressed.  Larry Cafero announced at this social that the Meeting House Board can submit a grant for$10,000 for some sorely needed repairs to the facility.  Peg will send Teddy an invoice for the price of the Spring Social mailing which he agreed to pay – $416.75

Suggestion made to consider establishing a data base for all of West Norwalk residents regarding their occupations.

Adopt-A-Spot Plantings – Ron presented proposal for signs and will get others for cost comparison.  Peg will mail all Board members the plan for plantings. We need to get this moving.

Peg will follow up with Max Asciutto $75.00 for WNA website development.

Preview of Coming Attractions:  Need items for Newsletter to be mailed in June along with donation  letter.  Talk with 4 Pazzi for possible mid Sept. social.  Combined Annual and Holiday meeting in December at Dolce.  Need for new stationery.
