Minutes West Norwalk Association Board of Directors Meeting
December 3, 2007

Directors in Attendance: Peggy Yff, Ron Paladino, Joel Zaremby, Jim Hirshfield, William Van Deventer, Bob Wagman, Chris Potts.

Visitors: Gay Mac Leod, Regina Krummel

Meeting called to order at 7:34 pm in Room 213 at NCC.
Minutes from November meeting accepted.
Treasurers’ report reflected a balance of about $3800.

Discussion

Holiday party is December 11. Invitations have been sent out. Estimate of 125 persons expected and reported to Dolce for food requirements. We will set up welcoming dues table to be manned on a rotating basis by board members. Name tags, pens and ruler will be supplied as well as member applications.
2008 dues will be as follows;
Recommended level       $30.00
WN Good Neighbor        $50.00
WN Community Builder $100.00
Ron will run raffle. Peggy will provide summary chart of what WNA has contributed to community. Chris will look into providing calendars for next year’s party. A letter will be sent out in January requesting dues from homeowners who did not attend the party.

Regina Krummel was voted onto board of directors.

Bob Wagman summarized the Flood Issues meeting. Bob reported a positive meeting with follow up with community necessary. He will also organize a committee to provide an environmental impact statement for homeowners in WN.

Gay Mac Leod discussed the latest meeting at the Tree Advisory committee.

The board agreed to discuss pet owners’ responsibilities at a future meeting.

It was agreed that Joel will send out a request for agenda items 2 weeks prior to the next meeting on a regular basis and report the information to Peggy.

The board has agreed to a maximum time of 90 minutes for all board meetings.

The next meeting will be on January 7, 2008.

Meeting adjourned at 8:55 pm.
