The West Norwalk Association is one of the oldest neighborhood associations in the country. The strength of this Association is our collective strength. The WNA is all-volunteer, with a strong voice at City Hall. We address all “quality of life” issues including flooding, loud noise, traffic, road conditions, commercial development at our borders, Norwalk’s Master Plan of Development, planning & zoning, historic preservation, area beautification, and many other issues.
We encourage each West Norwalk resident to become actively involved in the preservation of West Norwalk, by becoming an active and dues-paying member of your Association. We are in need of individuals who will serve as WNA ambassadors. We are also looking for volunteers to serve on a number of committees and on the board itself. If you are interested in serving in any of these capacities, please contact us by emailing [email protected].
Please understand that ALL OF THE DUES collected are used for direct benefit to the residents. None is used for administration! All of the Board members serve “pro bono” and give their time freely and generously.
Your payment of dues and other donations help fund many activities. They help us to fund the purchase of smartboards at Fox Run Elementary School. They help us to pay for the welcome baskets that our ambassadors present to new neighbors. They help us sponsor a local T-ball team. They help us to maintain three Adopt-a-Spot islands. They help to fund our annual holiday party and clean-up day activities. They help to pay for our newsletters and other mailings.
