Improving Your Home’s Energy Efficiency (Heather Stokes, VP/Chief Operating Officer, Home Comfort Practice)
- Reviewed assessment process, fee ($75.00), what is included in that assessment (ex. seal gaps in floor joists, caulk windows)
- Clients receive a written summary at the end of the audit; no obligation to undertake any of recommendations made
- Touched on rebate programs, payment plans, plus additional incentives for income-qualifying residents
- $25.00 audit referral rebate available
- Overall, can improve home energy efficiency, lessen carbon footprint and increase residents’ comfort level in their home
West Norwalk Meeting House Update (Sarah Kline)
- Trying to determine next steps/future for WNMH (repair/restore vs. sell)
- Current buried oil tank – needs to be addressed
- Assessment recently completed; trying to understand current zoning regulations, clarifying benefits of State Historical Registry, meeting scheduled with structural architect
- Hoping to resume collection of membership dues, possibly mount capital campaign
- Hosting next meeting which is open to the public on Wednesday, April 10 at 7pm (United Church on Richards Avenue)

- NEW Spring Cleanup Date: Saturday, April 27
- New vendor announced at Oak Hills restaurant: O’Deens
- Soft opening 4/1, official opening 5/1
- Possible location for WNA social event?
- Still time to weigh in on tax issue/budget (mill rate currently being discussed)
